A new must-try afternoon tea is launching this week in Richmond (PHOTOS)
While Metro Vancouver is definitely not lacking in awesome afternoon tea services, it doesn’t hurt to have a new one to top your must-try list.
Origo Club, located at 6888 River Road in Richmond, is officially launching a new afternoon tea starting August 31.

The swanky new spot opened its doors in late June and is adding the Friday and Saturday afternoon tea service to their daytime lunch and cafe options and evening dinner service.

Patrons who head to the cafe and art gallery from 1:30 to 4 pm on Friday and Saturday can expect a $45 selection of small bites, sandwiches, pastries, and a choice of coffee, tea, or champagne for $35 more.
Origo’s Afternoon Tea service features eats such as housemade scones with cream and jam, lemon tarts, macarons, and savoury selections like quiche Lorraine and choux aux champignons to name a few.
Reservations are recommended for this sweet new service at Origo.
