Vancouver’s 3rd Annual Original Bridal Swap will take place on April 7 at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown. This unique event brings together past and future brides to buy and sell gently used wedding items, with the goal making weddings in Vancouver more affordable and more eco-friendly.
Past brides signed up so far are selling items such as: glassware, table linens & overlays, ring pillows and lots of other decor and accessories, even wedding dresses. There will also be bridal shops selling their sample dresses, a range of wedding dresses on consignment, artisans selling eco-friendly and locally sourced merchandise, and local décor companies clearing out excess stock. Dress prices range from $99-800, instead of the average $2000.00 for a new dress.
If you are interested in signing up to sell items, or stopping by to shop for bargains, check out www.bridalswap.ca for all the details. Follow the swap on twitter (@bridalswapvan) to keep on top of the latest event updates.
