Musicians, here’s how you could win up to $5,000 in cash prizes

If you grew up watching talent shows like American Idol or The Voice on television while picturing yourself up on that stage, it’s about time to make those dreams become a reality. This talent competition could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Orbiiit, an online competition platform and social network that pairs talent with brands as well as their fans (just think LinkedIn for the entertainment industry), is hosting an online music contest, and this includes musicians, singers, rappers, and bands.
The best part is, upon entering, you will get the chance to win a career-coaching session with David Boxenbaum, a record label executive renowned for discovering and signing Maroon 5, launching them to stardom.

Prizes include:
- Grand Prize #1: Career-coaching session with former Maroon 5 label executive, David Boxenbaum (will be selected by David Boxenbaum)
- Grand Prize #2: $3,000 cash
- Second Prize: $2,000 cash
- Third Prize: $1,000 cash
To enter, all you need to do is upload your audition video whether it be singing, playing an instrument, or playing in a band to YouTube and submit the link to the Orbiiit contest page.

Winners (except those for Grand Prize #1) will be selected by the public, who will be able to have a regular free vote (counts for one vote), or a power vote for $1 (ie. $10 = ten votes) — with partial proceeds going towards CKNW Kids’ Fund. Orbiiit’s past contests have included a nightlife and hospitality contest, where the winner won $10,000 in cash and donated it all to the CKNW Kids’ Fund.
