Kick off Vancouver's soccer summer with this open-air watch party in South Flats

This summer, 1155 East 6th Ave. is transforming into Vancouver’s ultimate open-air home for the biggest soccer tournament of the year — the World Cup.

Running June 11 to 13 and June 18 to 21, Game Days, brought to you by Low Tide Properties, will feature a big screen, live entertainment, food, and a beer garden.

Grab a drink, settle into the outdoor seating (which will be covered, in case Raincouver decides to live up to its name), and watch the biggest matches of the year on the big screen. The hours of the event will be aligned to match schedule each day.

Guests can expect live music from local bands and artists between games, keeping the energy high. Meanwhile, a lineup of food trucks operating throughout each day will ensure you’re fuelled up and ready to cheer on your favourite teams.

Got little ones in tow? There will also be kids’ activities, like a soccer-themed bouncy castle and games, to keep them entertained.

Set in South Flats, Game Days is just minutes from downtown Vancouver and neighbourhoods like Mount Pleasant and Olympic Village, with great access by transit, bike, and on foot — so getting there couldn’t be easier.
