The Snow Queen takes Centre Stage on Robson Street this December, literally.
On December 1 and 2 the special festive show will be projected onto the face of the John Robson building at 1155 Robson Street.
Presented by the Robson Street Business Association (RSBA), ‘The Snow Queen’ will be projected from 6 pm each night with performance repeated every 15 minutes until 9 pm.
In collaboration with Small Stage, a local non-profit dance organization, Robson Street Business Association have created a short, whimsical story about a Snow Queen and her kingdom that will create a winter wonderland amidst the hustle and bustle of Robson
Street.
“The holidays are always such a magical time of year,” explains Teri Smith, Executive Director of the RSBA, “and we want to create something extra special for our visitors as they shop, dine and stroll Robson Street”.
Julie-anne Saroyan of Small Stage adds, “I am excited to see another unique collaboration between Small Stage and Robson Street bring the arts to a public space for everyone to
enjoy. It’s the perfect setting to create a bit of holiday magic.”
To add to the holiday experience, extra cheer will be served up with hot cups of cocoa and sweet treats for spectators in need of warming up and refuelling.
Robson Street will remain open to vehicle traffic during the showings.
