One man dead in snowmobiling accident at Blackcomb Mountain

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed one person is dead after a snowmobiling accident on Blackcomb at Whistler on New Year’s day.

Barb McClintock says the investigation is under way, and there will be more details available on Monday.

She adds an avalanche was not a factor.

The driver was part of a snowmobile tour.
