Oasis is set to bring their anthemic rock offerings to GM place tonight. The Urban Dweller, having scored some tickets via his boss, can’t wait to see these hooligans belt out such hits as “Champagne Supernova” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger”.
These bad boy British rockers from Manchester have had a roller coaster music career. When they aren’t busy dissing Jay-Z or Blur, they are fighting with each other, however through all that they still managed to stay together and put out some really good tunes. Now granted they haven’t had a commercially “successful” record since their 2nd album “(Whats The Story) Morning Glory?”, who the fuck cares, they have a slew of hits from their past and solid new record “Dig Out Your Soul” set to be released in October of this year.
Lets hope they stay on stage long enough to get through the entire set. They are currently on tour with special guests Ryan Adams and The Cardinals. Some tickets are still available check ticketmaster.ca for availability.
