Now open: Giardino Restaurant makes a highly anticipated return

Giardino Restaurant, the long awaited eatery from Umberto Menghi, has officially opened for business. Located just steps away from the original Il Giardino, which closed two years ago, Giardino Restaurant will offer diners a taste of Menghi’s much loved Tuscan-inspired fare.

Serving a delicious range of Italian cuisine, Giardino will deliver fresh-tasting, clean, Mediterranean flavours. “Giardino is a continuation of my passion for the food born in my home country,” explains Menghi.

The Hornby Street restaurant, which screams of Tuscany with its red-tiled roof, stones, and lush garden, will seat around 160 guests in the main dining area. An additional 80 seats will be available outside on the garden patio and small front patio by the entrance.

Giardino Restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday for dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. Lunch service will follow in a few weeks. Stay tuned to the restaurant’s social media pages for further developments.
