North Vancouver is getting a holiday pop-up market with 80+ local makers

‘Tis the season to shop local, sip something warm, and feel all the festive fuzzies. And the Vancouver Etsy Co Holiday pop-up is the perfect place to do it all.

The holiday pop-up market is rolling into North Vancouver this November with everything you need to kick off gift-giving season in the most heartwarming way possible. Think twinkly lights, local makers, creative workshops, and lots of seasonal fun.

Taking over The Pipe Shop on Nov. 29 and Nov. 30, this two-day market will feature more than 80 local makers, designers, and artists selling everything from jewelry and home goods to handmade candles, ceramics, apparel, and skincare.

Many products are handmade — no mass production here, just tons of heart and creativity!

Meet the mini makers

In the spirit of supporting the next generation, 12 Mini Makers (kids aged seven to 14) will be selling their own crafts too. It’s peak festive cuteness.

There will also be workshops for anyone looking to learn a new skill or make something cute themselves. From dried floral arrangements and wax scents to stamp carving and polymer clay sculpting, there’s plenty to dig into.

There are also UBC Geering Up STEM activities for kids on Saturday to keep them entertained while you shop.

Tickets are just $5 (kids 12 and under are free), and that gets you entry for both days. The fun part? The first 50 guests through the door each day will score market cash and a limited-edition tote bag.

You can also win market cash by snagging tickets online, which enters you in a draw. Plus, e-tickets will let you skip the line.

In addition to bringing handmade treasures and holiday cheer to the city, the pop-up also supports local charities. 50 per cent of ticket sales go toward Mom2Mom Child Poverty Initiative and the Renfrew-Collingwood Seniors’ Society. In fact, the market has already raised over $24,000 for charities since 2022.
