Make way for North Vancouver's Boat Show, it's larger than you think

What better way to celebrate fall in Vancouver than to spend a day on the water, daydreaming and planning for when the sun will make its triumphant return.

On September 17 to 20, Boat Show at The Creek returns to Mosquito Creek Marina for its ninth consecutive year, making for the perfect venue to explore life on the water, peruse the latest in marine innovation and enjoy a cold beer on the deck.

This year’s show features 2,500 feet of dock space showcasing over 160 boats, including motor and sailing yachts, sport and fishing boats, cruisers and personal water crafts of all shapes and sizes. Take a walk down the dock to find the latest models as well as previously owned models ready for new owners. On land, show-goers can also shop for marine electronics and accessories, admire luxury cars and get the latest information on insurance and financing.

After a full afternoon of touring dream yachts, attendees can head down to the Celebration on Water Beer Garden for barbecue and refreshments, complete with 360-degree views of the North Shore mountains and downtown Vancouver.

The Spirit Trail Ocean Homes development will have an open house throughout the duration of the show and waterfront homes priced under $1 million will be showcased. The float home community is the first of its kind in Canada: an Ocean Village in an urban, marina-side setting – and a seminar will be held on Sunday afternoon to learn more about this unique North Vancouver real estate opportunity.

• Off-site parking with shuttle service to overflow parking during peak hours, valet parking available
