North Shore Taxi is taking anyone on the North Shore to their polling station for free, helping local residents fulfill their civic duties.
The company’s general manager Gurdip Singh Sahota announced the generous perk this morning over Twitter:

Uber, which recently launched in Calgary despite the mayor’s disapproval, already announced they would be offering free rides to polls across the country today. The service is currently only available in Edmonton, Calgary, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Quebec City, Montreal, Halifax, Ottawa and Toronto.
Anyone interested in hitching a free ride to the polls can use the North Shore Taxi app with account code 7171 ELECTION 2015 or call 604-987-7171.
