Right on time for the summer playlists to start coming together, No Frills has dropped a track.

Yes, seriously.

Serving as “half banger, half PSA,” the song “A Cart Apart” aims to teach Canadians what it means to shop responsibly during These Strange Times. “From social distancing to not hoarding staple items,” the track outlines what customers should and shouldn’t do in order to grocery shop safely.

Also, the song serves to celebrate No Frills employees across the country, who are working each day on the front lines to keep Canadians fed.

The track’s accompanying music video is live on YouTube now, and in the coming days, it’ll be available for streaming on Spotify and iHeartRadio. Yeah. We told you it was serious.

Each time the video is viewed or the song is streamed, “A Cart Apart” will donate $1 to the President’s Choice Children’s Charity, to a maximum of $50,000.

The charity continues to reach vulnerable children with food during the ongoing closures across Canada.
