New Movie Reviews: Golden Globe Awards Nominations & Winners

Dec 19 2017, 2:52 pm

Update: (Includes winners) The Golden Globes are known for honoring the best in film and television and is by far one of the biggest award shows of the season recognizing achievements in 25 categories; 14 in motion pictures and 11 in television.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are gearing up to host the Golden Globes this Sunday night (January 13, check local listings). When Amy was asked how she felt about hosting this year, she responded: “It was originally going to be the car from ‘Transformers.”

Taking over for three-time Globes host Ricky Gervais, (who I personally enjoyed watching) might be a challenge, but the new duo stated confidently that they have a plan.

“We’re going to sing the whole show. The whole show is going to be sung front to back and Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine have written it.”

After sitting through hours, upon hours, of watching films, writing reviews, and getting fat off peanut M&M’s, it’s finally time to see how my predictions stack-up against the Hollywood big-wigs.
