IKEA is known for as the go-to spot for beautifying spaces but this spring, their Richmond store sees all the action. On April 25, 2012 IKEA’s new 334,000 square foot (slightly larger than the store in Coquitlam) Richmond store will open, offering over 9,000 products and showcasing 51 inspirational room settings. Located on Jacombs Road, adjacent to the current location (which closes April 22), the new IKEA will include a 600+ seat restaurant, over 1,400 parking spaces and 100 bicycle racks.

As the longest standing IKEA store in Canada, IKEA Richmond is inviting the public to the Grand Opening on April 25, 2012 starting at 7:00 a.m. which will feature fun family entertainment and great giveaways.

Wondering what you might see? Here are a few spring season products that caught our eye.

Quaint outdoor furniture that would fit on any Vancouver-sized condo patio.

Designed to look like solid wood, but made from plastic for easy clean and durability, this line is definitely a plus.

Love the table lamp that gives the room some mood.

Perfect table that’s simple yet functional.

Modern and unique lighting that creates some killer patterns on your wall.
