Soon Mickey, Donald, Goofy and the rest of the Disney Gang will be at Metropolis at Metrotown as the Disney Store will open one of its new concept stores in Metropolis at Metrotown. Yes the Disney Store will be coming back to the shopping centre and will be better than ever.
The Metropolis store will be one of only two Disney Store locations featuring the new design to open in Canada to this year. Disney Store plans to add 25 new and remodeled worldwide locations in 2011. Opening newly designed stores in six new North American markets and three new European countries. The concept stores have been hugely successful with a layout that boasts immersive experiences and encourages interactive play for an enhanced shopping experience.
Work is beginning immediately on the store, with an opening dates slated for late spring. Not sure where the location is as of press time.
