Netflix show featuring 'GoT' actor filming at Metro Vancouver beach next month
A new Netflix show featuring some names associated with major projects will be filmed on a Metro Vancouver beach next month.
Daily Hive has obtained a notice of filming for the first season of a new show called Trinity, starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Richard Madden, which will be filmed at Crescent Beach.
Mbatha-Raw has appeared in films such as Summerland and shows like Loki.

Meanwhile, Madden is probably best known for playing Robb Stark in Game of Thrones. He has also won awards for his role in Bodyguard.
Trinity is described as a high-stakes drama created by Bodyguard writer Jed Mercurio.
“The eight-episode series follows a valiant naval officer (Mbatha-Raw) whose newfound connection with the secretary of defence (Madden) catapults her into a world of political intrigue,” Netflix says.
On July 8, filming for the show will begin at Crescent Beach, located at 12157 Beecher St. in South Surrey. The setup and takedown of filming equipment and sets will take place on Monday, July 7, and Wednesday, July 9, respectively.
On Monday, “minimal crew and work trucks” will be prepping for filming between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
For locals, there is one small street closure to be aware of.
“The majority of our vehicles will be parked on private property to minimize the impact to the businesses along Beecher Street,” the notice of filming shares, but it adds that the City of Surrey has allowed crews to post temporary no-stopping signs in the following areas:
On Tuesday, July 8, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., there will be no stopping on either side of Beecher Street from O’Hara Lane to McBride Avenue.
On July 9, restoration is expected to last between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.
In March, we shared how Netflix had filmed various shows throughout the province, including an episode of Black Mirror (filmed in Surrey and Vancouver), over the previous year.
Netflix has shared a bit more information about the show, which currently lacks a release date.
