The much anticipated Netflix production Sense8 has finally released a trailer and it looks pretty sweet. Sense8 was created and directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski as well as J. Michael Straczynski and Grant Hill. So expect this slick new science fiction drama to have a lot of martial arts action and some mind-bending storytelling.
The premise of the show is about eight people from around the world that find out that their senses have been raised and that they are suddenly and inexplicably connected. It’s an interesting concept but we shall see how the show fares, after most of us have just come off the Netflix high that was Daredevil.
The cast includes some Wachowski favorites and a “Lost alum” in Naveen Andrews. The cast also includes Brian J. Smith, Tuppence Middleton, Jamie Clayton, Miguel Angel Silvestre, Tina Desai, Doona Bae, Aml Ameen, Max Riemelt, Daryl Hannah, Terrence Mann, Freema Agyeman, Alfonso Herrera, Erendira Ibarra, Adam Shapiro, Ness Bautista and Joe Pantoliano.
Sense8 will be 12 episodes long and will be launching on Netflix June 5th.
