Harken well, Nerds of Vancouver, for there is great news to be announce this day. Winter ins coming and it is well known that this is a fairly slow season for nerds of all varieties. Several geek organizations are trying to rectify this for the community, it is in that vein that Aesir Productions brings us the Nerdfest IV: A Night of Epic Fantasy at the Rikshaw theatre.
Headlined by Celtic gypsy rockers The Whiskeydicks, Nerdfest will feature magic acts, a sword fighting demonstration by the Academie Duello, burlesque and live music. Vendors of things shiny and tasty, such as MissyD’s Delectable Delights and Khaos Kult to name a couple, will peddle their wares. No nerd event is complete without a costume contest, so you are encouraged to get your kit on, there could be fabulous prizes in it for you.

Nerdfest Vancouver opens its doors at 7pm on the 8th of November, with the show starting at 7:30. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Nerdfest comes but once a year, so be sure not to miss this night of epic fantasy.
