NBA announces remaining players for the 2019 All-Star Game

Kyle Lowry will play in a fifth-straight NBA All-Star Game, as the league announced the remaining players for the February 17 game in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Lowry is one of two Raptors selected for the game, as Kawhi Leonard was voted in as a starter last week. The 32-year-old point guard is having another solid season, averaging 14.2 points, 9.4 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Despite having a breakout season, averaging 15.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, Raptors forward Pascal Siakam was not selected.

All-Star reserves were decided by a vote of NBA head coaches.

While Lowry and Leonard will play in the game, they won’t necessarily be on the same team. For the second straight year, teams will be decided by a fantasy draft, which will be televised February 7.

Leading vote getters LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will captain their respective teams, and take turn selecting teammates, beginning with the starters before moving on to the reserves.
