See your work in orbit with the NASA logo contest

Dec 20 2017, 5:13 am

A NASA logo contest could see your hard work orbiting the planet along with the best and brightest of humanity.

The logo will be used by NASA’s In-Space Manufacturing project, which is developing 3D printers that will be used by astronauts to print hardware on-demand while in space. According to the contest, the winning design should “graphically convey the key theme of space exploration and on-demand manufacturing/repair.”

What that means is up to you!

The contest runs until Thursday, April 14 and is open to designers worldwide. The contest itself is being managed through graphic design contract website Freelancer. The chosen logo designer will win a cash prize of $300, but will also see their logo on all In-Space Manufacturing presentation materials, t-shirts, coffee mugs, and more.

For details on design submission and requirements, visit the contest page on Freelancer.
