Dec 19 2017, 2:00 pm

Abbotsford’s very own Joshua Hyslop recently released his album Where the Mountain Meets the Valley via Nettwerk. The singer-songwriter now has a music video for his first single “What Have I Done?” featuring Anna Scouten.

The video showcases Joshua Hyslop and Anna Scouten harmonizing and singing about their damaged relationship in an apartment which seems to be in a similar state. Gradually, the broken items in the apartment begin to reverse and put themselves back to their original form. As the song progresses, it hints on a more hopeful outlook and a chance of a reconciled relationship.

Check out the new music video below and listen to Where the Mountain Meets the Valley here.

Bio:
Joshua is a modern folk musician, an amalgam of influence in the classically romantic tradition of Damien Rice, Ryan Adams, Iron and Wine, and Sufjan Stevens. Like the said ballyhooed folksters before him, Joshua is inspired to write largely as a result of the people and relationships surrounding him, while also subjecting his songs to his own vulnerabilities, doubts, and conflicts.
