Music Monday: Humans release music video for “Water Water”

Dec 20 2017, 4:51 am

Humans, Vancouver’s favourite electronic duo, released their latest effort, Water Water, on March 4 and now the Juno Award-nominees have released a music video for the EP’s title track.

The video — directed by one-half of the group, Peter Ricq — follows a black jacket emblazoned with the Humans logo on the back as its wearer dashes around through the streets of downtown Vancouver. The shorter cut of the song, which is snipped to four-minutes from the extended version’s 10 (both of which are included on the album), is used here; but the track’s beautifully complex layers, deep groove, and airy atmospherics are ever-present and compliment the laid-back vibe that comprises the video.

Humans are nominated for Electronic Album of the Year at the 2016 Juno Award for their LP, Noontide. The boys are currently on tour and perform a hometown show at Celebrities on March 25 for the Hybridity Showcase as part of the Seasons festival.
