Although it was an industrial area before Expo ‘86, Yaletown has become one of Vancouver’s trendiest areas and is a place where many young urban professionals and families call home.
Despite its stereotypes (what neighbourhood doesn’t have any), Yaletown is an everything-at-your-fingertips spot with great views, delicious restaurants and many amenities. This downtown ‘hood is bordered by Homer St., Robson St. and False Creek.
So if you’re new to Yaletown or are looking to move in, check out some of the essentials it has to offer. This list is by no means exhaustive, it’s just a place to start.
