The Delta Police Department have posted a video on YouTube of a motorcyclist speeding and weaving dangerously through traffic on Highway 17 after they pulled him over and seized his GoPro.

The police caught him with radar going 213 km/h, but the video shows his top speed was around 220 km/h. Several times throughout the video, he can be seen passing between cars on the centre line.

The driver’s motorcycle was impounded and he was subjected to several Motor Vehicle Act charges.

When officers noticed he was wearing a GoPro camera, they seized it and watched the footage back later.

The Delta Police Department posted the video to show just how dangerous the man’s behaviour was, and that he put himself and other road users at risk.
