The annual list of Greater Vancouver’s most expensive homes is out, and never has $16 million seemed so cheap.
BC Assessment has released their 2016 real estate property assessment values and published the top 100 most expensive properties in Greater Vancouver, with the most expensive being Chip Wilson’s $63,870,000 monster home on Point Grey Road. The list features properties mainly from Point Grey, Kitsilano, UBC, and West Vancouver, right down to the least expensive on the list: a $16.1 million home on the water in West Van.

Thirteen out of the top 50 homes are located on the swanky Belmont Drive – nicknamed “Billionaires Row” – in Point Grey and another 10 have addresses on Point Grey Road, or aptly dubbed “The Golden Mile.” Four others call Newton Wynd on UBC’s Endowment Lands home.
The total assessments in Greater Vancouver grew from $546.7 billion in 2015 to $636.2 billion in 2016, a 16% growth in 12 months.
