More Watchers than topless women in today's march in Vancouver

Dec 19 2017, 8:13 am

Today is international ‘Go Topless Day’ and a group of about 100 women and some men took part in the march down Robson Street in Vancouver. However, as many predicted (just see our comments on the initial article), there were more watchers than participants.

The amount of onlooker was to expected and welcomed by the women in the march because they see nothing wrong with women walking the streets topless.

It is legal for women to be topless in Vancouver, however, many feel uncomfortable with the notion. The participants in the march want it to be socially acceptable for women, just as it is for men.

The event was being held in 45 cities around the world.
