Metro Vancouver's "first-ever" Infinity Room opens in Richmond today

Moon and Back Gallery, Richmond’s newest mirror light exhibit, opens year-round to the public on Tuesday. According to the owners, it’s the first-ever Infinity Room in Metro Vancouver.

The 2,000 sq. ft. space features 10 unique rooms, including several alleys and tunnels. Of the 10 rooms, four are mirrored infinity rooms, each with different lighting and decor.
“The themes vary between neon lights, a bubble room, it’s all unique,” says Shelley Liu, Co-Owner of Moon and Back Gallery in an interview.

Liu notes that Moon and Back Gallery also has a two-dimensional comic room, which was handpainted to give guests the feeling that “they’re in a comic book”
“All of our guests are welcome to take photos,” she adds. “It’s meant to be a visual experience. We want them to take great photos and videos and to enjoy the space.”
The gallery is also open for private bookings such as weddings and private photoshoots. Liu says that the gallery has already received a number of inquiries for bookings and that rates can be requested via email.
“It’s a fantastic experience. This is something that’s new to Vancouver and something that we really want to amaze people.”

Moon and Back Gallery will be open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday to Thursday, from 2 to 8 pm, Friday from 2 to 9 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 9 pm.
Admission costs $35 for adults and $21 for those between the age of four to 11, with tickets available both online and at the gallery. Tickets purchased online are valid for seven days from the date of purchase.
