FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Vancouver record company Monstercat is hosting a massive open house event.
The first ever Monstercat Compound event is taking place at the firm’s headquarters in Railtown on Saturday, August 26. And it’s set to feature everything from Monstercat music, to gaming, art, digital media and design, demonstrations, and displays, plus tons of activities that highlight the city’s bustling creative scene.

Tomorrowland/Monstercat
You’ll also get to see the latest innovative technology from Splice, Roland, Nimbus School of Recording & Media, Tangible Interaction, and INEO Studios; powered by Sapporo Canada and PK Sound.
The best part? It’s free to attend the all-ages creative showcase. All you have to do is RSVP online in advance to get a ticket.

DJ/Monstercat
There will be a beer garden for those over 19 to enjoy some cold brews amid the festivities. And let’s not forget the food trucks that’ll be there too.
Don’t sweat it if you forget to hit an ATM before you get there as there will be one onsite.
It wouldn’t be Monstercat without music and the record company is proud to welcome members of their artist family. Throughout the day, you’ll get to enjoy live performances from Monstercat International Touring Artists including ROBOTAKI, Conro, Grant and Going Quantum, with local support from Orri + Friends, Joel West, and Derrick Vnuk.
ROBOTAKI is enjoying an incredible 2017 so far, touring with Madeon and Porter Robinson on the “Shelter Tour”, and joining Manilla Killa for a run of sold-out shows. While Conro rocked the stage with Monstercat at Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Tomorrowland, and across China while also touring in Ibiza with Martin Garrix.
As for Grant, Monstercat are thrilled to have him join them for a whirlwind tour of China after making his Live debut at EDC. Shoring up the lineup, Monstercat have artists who are more than familiar with their HQ, the man himself, Going Quantum, and the best buds you could ever ask for, Orri + Friends.
All donations made at the door and partial merchandise sales will support the non-profit Music Heals Canada.
Since establishing in Vancouver six years ago, Monstercat has helped shape the music industry worldwide. The company now signs many international artists, releases chart-topping records, and hosts stages at some of the world’s biggest festivals including EDC and Tomorrowland.
Meet the creatives behind all of this at the immersive and interactive Monstercat Compound later this month.
