Cambie Street’s popular Moii Café has recently opened the doors to a new storefront in the city’s downtown core. Located on the corner of Pender and Richards, Moii Café serves a variety of authentic Japanese, Taiwanese, French and California-style crêpes, in addition to an extensive drinks menu.
Offering the same menu as the Cambie Street branch, Moii Café on Pender serves handcrafted sweet and savoury crêpes, which come stuffed with a range of moreish fillings.

The left side of Moii Café’s hand-written chalk board menu, which hangs above the counter, is dedicated to long list of savoury crêpes, and includes Black Forest Ham and cheese, smoked salmon and cheese, spinach and feta, and Terimayo (BBQ chicken, crispy bonito flakes, cheese, Okonomi sauce, and wasabi), among others.

Displayed to the right of these offerings are the sweet crêpes, which like their savoury counterparts are made-to-order, and feature fillings like Nutella and coconut, sugar and lemon juice, Caramel Apple (apple slices, walnut, caramel, cinnamon, and condensed milk), Mixed Fruits (banana, kiwi, strawberry, maple syrup, and vanilla ice cream), and more.
Bubble Tea (Jess Fleming / Vancity Buzz)
In addition to the edible delights served, the crêperie also offers a range of beverages, which include coffee, milk tea, black tea, green tea, juice, smoothies and bubble tea. Known for their generously sized and flavourful bubble tea, patrons are encouraged to make their drinks into a bubble tea, which when requested will come served with jelly or pearls.

The 20-plus seat corner café is clean, comfortable, and the perfect spot to enjoy a quick snack. It’s a convenient space, centrally located for downtown residents, workers, and students alike, and is reasonably priced. Crêpes range from $4 to $10 and drinks are around the $4 to $5 mark.
