On Sunday November 6, 100 electric guitars will contribute to 100 Very Good Reasons Why___.

The project is a free, large-scale community event happening at the Roundhouse Community Arts Centre. The collaborative undertaking will bring together 100 amateur and professional electric guitar players, of varying ages and backgrounds.

The show is part of this year’s Modulus Festival, which runs from November 4 to 9 in Yaletown. Presented by Music on Main, this will be the biggest and most ambitious festival yet.

Representing the best of new and classical music, the festival will see nine concerts, a large-scale community event, and some legendary repertoire.

A musically adventurous listener’s delight, Modulus Festival will go from pop culture references to multimedia opera to improvisation. You never knew classical music could sound like this.
