Dog missing after falling over waterfall in Lynn Canyon

North Vancouver Fire Rescue Services is seeking assistance to find a dog that went missing over a waterfall in Lynn Canyon yesterday.

Maya, a nine-year-old golden retriever, is missing after falling from a waterfall while out with her owner on Saturday.

According to a Facebook post, firefighters came to assist in locating Maya, but they were not able to find her.

Maya is described as a “very strong and excellent swimmer.” She is also microchipped.

Anyone who has seen her or has any information regarding Maya’s disappearance is strongly urged to contact DNV Fire Rescue Services at 604-543-6700 or her owner at 778-839-2397.

Users are also encouraged to share images of Maya on social media by sharing her owner’s Facebook posts.
