5 reasons to join the Miracle Challenge for BC Children's Hospital

September 1 marks the beginning of Miracle Challenge, a 27-day wellness challenge that encourages you to achieve fitness goals, while fundraising for kids in Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Over the course of 27 days, participants will accomplish 27 different mini-challenges all connected to their fitness passion. Along the way, they are encouraged to raise at least $10 per day on behalf of kids in the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Ready to get moving? Here are five reasons why we think you should:

1. You choose your fitness activity

Select a fitness track, including running, cycling/spinning, studio classes (think yoga/pilates), boot camp or walking. Learn from expert coaches through 27 customized fitness challenges.

2. It’s flexible

Let’s face it, fitting exercise into our daily routine is a challenge for many of us. With Miracle Challenge, you’ll get daily fitness challenges to keep you motivated and moving for the whole 27 days. Plus, it’s flexible. Complete your daily challenge where you want, when you want.

3. Bond with others

Miracle Challenge is a shared experience with participants uniting to push their physical limits and help the kids who need it most. Form a team with your family, friends and/or co-workers to create memories and miracles.

4. Improve your health

We all know that regular exercise is good for you, but its benefits are much more than just losing weight and building muscles. Regular fitness activities are shown to improve memory, improve sleep, boost your mood and help you live longer.

5. For the kids

There are kids at BC Children’s Hospital who can’t go for a walk, run or bike ride; they may be fighting a life-threatening illness or recovering from a devastating injury. Miracle Challenge participants help these kids get better by raising the funds needed to provide essential treatment and services.
