Service update as of 5 pm: Regular operations have resume on the Millennium Line.

ORIGINAL STORY:

SkyTrain users are being warned their commute will be interrupted on Thursday afternoon due to a medical emergency on the Millennium Line.

There is no service between Renfrew and VCC-Clark stations, TransLink said in a news release at 3 pm. Extra buses are being deployed to help passengers.

“Customers are being encouraged to consider alternate travel options. The Expo Line and Canada Line are unaffected and providing regular service,” TransLink said.

By 4 pm TransLink got a shuttle train set up.

“Customers must transfer trains at Renfrew Station to continue their journey. Trains will not stop at Commercial-Broadway Station,” it said.
