If you can believe it, Virgin River has entered its seventh season, and the show, known for being filmed in B.C., has visited several more Metro Vancouver locations for filming.

B.C. cities the show visited for its latest season include Burnaby, Vancouver, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, and Chilliwack.

Netflix Canada has shared some more details about some of those filming spots.

The latest season saw Virgin River hit up Burnaby City Hall, the Lower Seymour Conservation in North Vancouver, In a Wink Beautique in Port Coquitlam, Chilliwack Heritage Park, and VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver.

Like in many shows, these Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley spots aren’t depicted as B.C. in the series, but instead, various locales in a fictional small town in California.

Netflix Canada has also shared some photos of some of the respective areas and how they might appear in the series.

Location manager and scout Robert Millar shared some details about the B.C. filming of the show in a Netflix Tudum post.

“Just living in B.C. and being here and seeing beautiful locations, I always take a picture,” he told Tudum from the set of the show in 2022. “Luckily, with the geo-tagging on phone photographs, if I see something really cool, I can just go click, take a picture of it, and then a year down the road I could be just like, ‘Oh, there was that one spot that was near Vernon and the Okanagan.’”
