Metro Vancouver forecast calls for rain throughout most of the week

As the saying goes, April showers bring May flowers.

And that’s certainly what Metro Vancouver’s forecast has in store — at least, according to Environment Canada.

The weather agency is calling for rain throughout most of the week, save for two days of sunny breaks.

Monday kicks off with a mix of sun and clouds, with a chance of showers during the day. Environment Canada also says that there’s a risk of thunderstorms until later in the afternoon.

Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be rainy, so any time spent outdoors will likely require an umbrella.

Thursday calls for sunshine to end off the month of April, while Friday, the first day of May, kicks off with a mix of sun and clouds.

The sun won’t last long, however, as the rain is set to return overnight and carry over into a high chance of showers on Saturday and Sunday.
