Cloud cover and possible rain in Metro Vancouver's forecast this weekend

Residents in Metro Vancouver have one short-lasting hurdle of springlike cloud cover and rain showers to overcome before the arrival of sunshine and warmth that coincides with the official start of summer on Tuesday.

According to Environment Canada’s latest forecast, cloudy skies are expected on Saturday and there is a chance of showers on Sunday. Daytime temperature highs throughout the weekend will hover just below 20°C.

Everything changes beginning Monday, with sunshine expected for the foreseeable future and temperatures reaching the mid-20s towards the end of the week.
