Temperatures on the BC South Coast will be warmer than Rio de Janeiro this week! Vancouver is set for an entire hot week of glorious sunshine, according to Environment Canada.

Environment Canada’s weather forecast says we’ll be basking in temperatures above 20°C by the water all week – hitting highs of 26°C on Thursday and Saturday. It will be even warmer inland, with temperatures reaching 32°C, and all of this excludes humidity.

The good news?

It means we can finally enjoy summer in our beautiful city. There’s nothing like basking on Kits Beach, or hitting up the numerous campsites near Vancouver.

The bad news?

Most of us will be too busy at work to enjoy it. Time to take a personal day.
