Meet Vancouver's Youngest Chef at Hawkers Market This Sunday (POSTPONED)

Dec 19 2017, 8:12 pm

Vancouver is home to one of Canada’s youngest chefs in training. Liam Lewis who goes by the moniker The Little Locavore is 12 years old and is taking on the Vancouver food scene by storm eating everything in his path on a conquest to become a chef. Liam frequents kitchens all over town learning from chefs and building his Culinary repertoire.

This weekend Liam is venturing into a new pop up where he will be serving his new line of Little Locavore Sauces, including his signature Beet Ketchup. Liam will be teaching Vancouverites how to make it as well this coming Sunday at Hawkers Market Made From Scratch.

Hawkers Market also has a tremendously cool music lineup planned for this weekend, Claire Mortifee a Vancouver vocalist will be kicking off the live performances at 9pm on Saturday night, followed by brand new Vancouver band Mausiki dubbed as world rock from outer space. Riffing of these opening acts BESTiE takes the stage at 11 pm to rock the house with their post wave, posi-core, tropi-vibes emoji-pop sounds. The perfect soundtrack to the fleeting days of summer.
