Meet a former MLB player during next week's Vancouver Canadians game

Aug 1 2019, 4:57 am

The Greater Vancouver Board of Trade (GVBOT) is giving its members and baseball fans alike the chance to meet a former MLB pitcher.

Next week, former Oakland Athletics and Chicago Cubs Pitcher Rich Harden will be coming home to British Columbia.

The Victoria, BC native made his debut in the MLB at the age of 21.

He’ll be at the Nat Bailey Stadium as part of the Vancouver Canadians’ Superstar Series, as the Canadians take on the Everett Aquasox.

The GVBOT is inviting everyone to join Network at the Nat. Likeminded business leaders and sports fans will have the chance to meet and collaborate, all while enjoying Vancouver Canadians baseball.

There will be a GVBOT section for attendees, as well as the opportunity to meet Harden for photos and memorabilia signing.

In order to attend, simply register for the waitlist online and a GVBOT member will reach out with registration info.

Tickets to Networking at the Nat are $33 for members and $43 for non-members (both prices do not include GST).

The event cost includes tickets for the game, as well as a meal voucher.
