Meat & Bread has Turducken sandwich December 21-23

It’s baaaack! And it will probably sell out, so make your plans now. Meat & Bread will once again be offering their treasured holiday Turducken sandwich. The special will be available at the sandwich shop’s Vancouver locations December 21 to 23, while supplies last.

The Turducken is a wildly popular seasonal fowl mash-up, featuring a chicken in a duck in a turkey, roasted to perfection and served up sandwich-style. The restaurant has played around with flavour combos in the past, like last year’s Poblano duck sausage, fennel Stuffing, southern gravy, cranberry butter, and greens, or 2013‘s tuffing, fried onions, pickled fennel, savoury cashew butter and gravy. Earlier this month, Meat & Bread got the tastebuds of fans in Seattle primed with their Peking Turducken, featuring Hoisin glaze, cucumber scallion slaw, crispy wonton, and orange ginger aioli.

Considering how steady Meat & Bread’s lineups are just on any ol’ day (mmm, hello, that Porchetta!) expect mega lines for this annual event.
