Hour-long wait times reported at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet due to Boxing Day rush

Richmond’s McArthurGlen Designer Outlet says it is currently at capacity with entry wait times up to one hour due to today’s Boxing Day shopping rush.
The centre is currently at capacity with wait times up to an hour for entry. Please note, we have extended hours over Boxing Week from 9am – 9pm with quieter times to visit being mid-week. Thank you for your understanding.

In a statement, the outlet mall said it is extending its Boxing Day sales period starting Saturday, December 26 through to Sunday, January 3. Hours have also been extended from 9 am to 9 pm during this period, with the exception of December 31.
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet says it has enhanced cleaning in public areas, introduced more COVID-19 signage, and ensured lineup management outside of the main entrance in order to increase its COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
