May The Fourth Movie: Solo: A Star Wars Story

Head over to the Capilano Public Library to celebrate Star Wars Day with a screening of Solo: A Star Wars Legacy. Make sure you bring some snacks and dress up as your favourite Star Wars character for this fun all ages event.

Star Wars Day at the Terry Fox Library

If you’re in the Tri-Cities, head over to Star Wars Day at the Terry Fox Library. May the Fourth be with you as you join in the Star Wars-themed scavenger hunt, take pictures (in a costume of course) on a far far away planet (in front of a green screen) and make some arts and crafts. Enjoy some family time on this year’s Star Wars Day.

Galaxion: A Star Wars 80s Party

This month, Galaxion is celebrating Star Wars day with an epic dance party filled with all things space. There will be retro games, prizes for the best Star Wars costume and of course an epic dance party set to your favourite 80s songs! You don’t have to dress up but if you’re aiming for those prizes then I suggest you go all out.

May the 4th Be With You: Space Centre Family Night

Whats a more appropriate way to spend this day than at the HR McMillan Space Centre? Head over to Kitsilano for their May the 4th Be With You Family Night. With a bunch of Star Wars themed events including live demonstrations, a star theatre show and stargazing. There’s something for everyone in the family. Don’t forget to come dressed in your favourite Star Wars themed outfit!

Revenge Of The Fifth: Star Wars Trivia Night Party

While this event won’t fall on the actual day, why not extend the party to the 5th? The Russian Hall presents Revenge Of The Fifth: Star Wars Trivia Night Party. Anybody aged 7 and up can attend this event honouring the 2005 classic Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge Of The Sith. Make sure you get your tickets early as there will be a 50/50 draw, awesome prizes and even a cash bar!

May The 24th Be With You

If a weekend isn’t enough to keep your Star Wars mind satisfied then this is the event for you! Hosted by the Rotaract Club in Richmond, May the 24th Be With You is a Star Wars-themed fundraiser that aims to raise money for the Downtown Eastside women’s shelter. This all-ages event includes a dinner, 50/50 draw and some fun Star Wars trivia (with prizes for the highest scoring and best-dressed team). Get dressed up and have fun for a good cause!

May the 4th Be With You: A Star Wars Roller Disco

If you’re feeling like taking a trip out of Vancouver on this particular weekend, then head over to Victoria and experience the funky Star Wars Roller Disco. In honour of the original Star Wars films, Roller Skate Victoria is putting on a disco style roller skating night. Come dressed as either your favourite Star Wars character or in some fun disco attire and get lost in the 70s and 80s music that brings back memories of when these movies came out!
