Locally-based Amoda Tea, a company that curates tea from independent shops across North America, has taken their tea experience offline, and is hosting a series of matcha pop-up bars.
Offering both classic matcha drinks, as well as creative matcha concoctions, Amoda Tea have popped up this week at Eastwood Cycle Sanctuary, located at 154 West Hastings Street, and will be selling their deliciously refreshing whipped green tea beverages until Thursday.

Using 100% pure organic stone-ground green tea from Uji, Japan, Amoda Tea’s matcha menu includes iced matcha tea (ceremonial grade), local blueberry mint matcha iced tea, matcha lemonade, raspberry matcha lemonade, and iced matcha lattes (unsweet, vanilla, coconut, and white chocolate).

Available in small and large sizes, Amoda’s matcha-based drinks are easy to drink. They are sweet in taste and have a noticeably smooth texture, thanks in large part to the powered green tea’s super refined state.

In addition to their made-to-order drinks, Amoda Tea’s pop-up bar will also feature tins of their organic matcha, sachets of matcha superfood blends and homemade dark chocolate matcha power bites, which are all for sale.
