Massey Tunnel closed down due to water leaking from the roof

The George Massey Tunnel has been shut down to northbound traffic.

According to Drive BC, “an oversized vehicle” struck a sprinkler head towards the north end of the tunnel.

Southbound traffic is down to a single lane and a detour is available.

Commuters are advised to take an alternate route if possible.
