On Saturday, December 11th, Markus Naslund will forever be enshrined in Vancouver Canucks history as number 19 is raised to the rafters. Last week the Vancity Buzz crew in conjunction with Canucks TV & @VanCanucks took to the streets and asked the people of Vancouver why the #19 should be raised to the rafters? Filming the segment was an awesome experience and a dream come true for myself and Amie, as we’ve always wanted to work with our favourite team. It was my first time ever doing something like this and it shows. However, Amie was a natural.
You’ve seen the people’s answers in the video and I posed the same question to the people on twitter and I’ve selected a few tweets:

The last one was a total random tweet and had nothing to do with the question. Just thought I’d throw that in for kicks. Feel free to add your take on why #19 should be raised to the rafters and tell us what your favourite Markus Naslund moment was. My favourite moment has to be when he came and acknowledged the fans when an injury knocked him out of the playoff battle.
