When you drive, walk or skytrain by Marine and Cambie take a good look at it, as that neighbourhood is in for quite the change in the next 5 to 7 years. As you can see in the image above, there are at least 10 towers planned and many more mid rise buildings for the area. Finally a city council that plans to densify around a major transit station.
This is just one part of the City of Vancouver’s master plan for the Cambie Corridor. I’ll talk more about that some other day, after I’m done reading the city’s vision for Cambie.
The first project for the Cambie and Marine area is the Marine Gateway Project by PCI. Expect that to start construction within the next year or so.
