Manning Park Resort ski area to open this weekend

Dec 20 2017, 2:44 am

The list of open slopes just keeps growing and growing. Manning Park Resort’s alpine skiing operations are set to open this Saturday, November 28, one of their earliest on record, and they’re having an Opening Weekend Special to celebrate.

Skiers who bring a non-perishable food item at the point of purchase will get $10 off their day pass, in support of local food banks. Low season accomodation rates are also still in effect until December, so you can snag a full day lift ticket for just $43 with the Opening Weekend Special.

The slopes are opening with a snow depth of 116 centimetres of “all-natural, organic snow,” says a press release. The Orange Chair and Handle Tow lifts will be in operation, but check out the Manning Park Resort website for updates and more information.
