Police in Vancouver are investigating a late night shooting that seriously injured one man in the city’s Eastside neighbourhood.
According to a release, a 27-year-old man was shot near East 3rd Avenue and Templeton Street at approximately 11:30 pm. The man was later found suffering from gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of a vehicle located at the intersection of Commercial Drive and East 1st Avenue.
“The exact motive for the shooting has not yet been determined, but the evidence gathered at this time would indicate the shooting was targeted,” reads a statement by police. “No arrests have been made and officers continue to process both crime scenes.”
