Man injured in latest Surrey shooting

RCMP in Surrey are investigating the municipality’s 15th reported shooting since the start of March.

On Sunday at 5 p.m., a man was found injured with gunshot wounds in the 7000 block of 130th Street, Global B.C. reports. The victim was taken to hospital, and the extent of his injuries are not known.

There is no information on possible suspects, but a vehicle was seen fleeing the area at the time.

This is also the third shooting in Surrey since Friday when gunshots were reported at a residence in the 11700 block of 96th Avenue.

Another shooting occurred on Saturday evening at about 7:20 p.m. when a sedan passing by fired shots at a red car on 128th Avenue near 60th Avenue.
