Man in critical condition after Mission stabbing

A man has been seriously injured after he was stabbed several times at a retail complex in Mission on Wednesday evening.

At approximately 8 p.m., RCMP responded to a call of an altercation outside the Canadian Tire store at Mission Junction Mall.

Upon arriving to the scene, officers found a male victim with multiple wounds to the chest. The man was transported to Abbotsford Regional Hospital and then later airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital.

Police are investigating the incident and looking for suspects. Few details are available at the moment.
